Exclusive! FINAL DESTINATION 4: 3D Set Pictures!
I was actually ON the Orlando, FL set of Final Destination 4: 3D this week and I brought home some behind the scenes videos and set pictures from what I’m pretty sure were reshoots!
First up, here’s the new logo! (Got it from some signs around the set!)

I shot a behind-the-scenes video while they were filming the scene! Can’t wait to see the final outcome!

The first thing I noticed upon walking up to the set was that I’m not the only person who uses a LOT of duct tape hahah.

Here’s a wide shot of the whole set, which was right in the middle of Universal Studios, Orlando! They shut down this section of “New York” to film! (The grey truck seems to be a primary car in the scene!)

Here you can see a MASSIVE crane (or jib-arm) holding up the monstrous 3D camera! Also you can see the director sitting down wearing a grey shirt and a black hat!

Those workers on the scaffolding aren’t going to have a very good day, I can promise you that. ;]

Here’s a shot I got of the lead actor (not sure which, someone help me out?) getting ready for the next take. He’s wearing a cast; maybe he gets hurt in the opening sequence before everyone “cheats death”? We’ll see!

Unfortunately a storm rolled in during the shoot!

Everyone packed up quick and got out of the rain.

I took this opportunity to get a little bit closer and check out the scaffolding that would soon be toppled over. ;]

Here’s the crazy 3D camera set-up they were using. I can’t imagine operating that thing, it must be a real pain in the ass haha.

Here’s a shot of the coffee shop the lead actor walks into. The name of it is perfect. ;]

Of course it’s just a facade and the real coffee shop is on a soundstage somewhere. Here’s what it looks like inside (through the bottom of the left door).

That’s it for now guys! Make sure you subscribe to YouTube.com/ErickWithNoK to keep updated on Final Destination 4: 3D!
