A 15-year-old boy who ran away from home last month after fighting with his parents over his XBOX being taken away has been found dead.

Brandon Crisp had been missing for about three weeks. He bolted after a dispute with his parents over the amount of time he spent playing Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare on his XBOX.

Crisp’s body was found Wednesday by hunters in a several miles from his home. Police said they do not suspect foul play, raising the possibility that the boy may have gotten Hypothermia.

Microsoft donated $25,000 to a $50,000 reward for finding Crisp. They also gave the police his XBOX Live account information to aid in the search. One theory that made the rounds was that Crisp had run off to join a “clan” of gamers.

A petition to turn over the account information was posted on FindBrandonCrisp.com, which was established to help the search. Microsofot said, however, that they gave up the information as soon as they were contacted by Police and didn’t even see the petition until a while after.

A lesson to kids: GO OUTSIDE, MAKE SOME REAL FRIENDS.

A lesson to parents: PULL YOUR DAMN KID AWAY FROM THE TV ONCE IN A WHILE.
