What The Eff, David Blaine?!
So I just spent like two hours watching the David Blaine finale of his 60 hours upside down. He was supposed to catch a bullet in his mouth and then do the “Dive Of Death” and dive 44 stories or something. However now I have no idea what the hell just happened…
The bullet catch was pre-taped and they just played the tape, so I was a little disappointed about that. However when it came to the dive of death, I really have no idea what I just saw! He jumped, was caught by a rope, and then got lifted into the sky and vanished. What the HELL?
At first I thought they were pulling him back up to do it for real, but then he got pulled up higher than the structure hee had been hanging from, which is impossible because they were attached to the top of the structure. Obviously people would have noticed a helicopter, so that’s not an option. Where the hell did he go?!
ABC VERY awkwardly ended it with credits rolling as a dumbfounded anchor sputtered about David Blaine vanishing into the sky. Now I’m not sure if I’m disappointed or effed in the mind.
If this was the freaked out reaction David Blaine was going for, then AMAZING JOB. :D
